Connie Ramos, 57, of Amarillo, passed away on March 27, 2024. Celebration of Life Gathering will be 2:00 – 4:00 PM on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Connie was born on November 20, 1966, in Amarillo to Kenneth White and Allene Roys Townsend. Connie attended Dumas High School and later made her home in Amarillo, where she raised her family. Connie held a deep faith in God and prayed daily over family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family during game night and cuddling with her fur babies. Connie always had her door open to those who needed her, providing a warm and inviting environment Connie loved to relax and take life easy, she had two dogs, and she referred to them as “the girls”, Tinker Bell and Bambie. You could always call on Connie to be your travel buddy when getting on the road. In her daughter’s words, “Mom was loved by many, and hated by none”. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
Connie was preceded in death by her father Kenneth White, grandmother Maddlin “Mother” Roys, Sister Amanda White, Brother Shawn Townsend, and Granddaughter Angel Ramos, and Brother-in-law Alex Gomez.
Survivors include her three daughters, Holly Maxfield and husband Jeremy of Florida, Candi Ecker and husband Doug of Amarillo, Brittany Ramos and wife Danyale Tate of Fritch; her beloved parents Allene Townsend and husband Bill Townsend of San Angelo married 47 years ; her life partner, Louis Reich of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Cienna Ramos, Kielyn Maxfield, Jaidyn Ecker, Adrian Maxfield and Kaidynce Ecker; her daughter in love, McKenzie Gattis; five sisters, her twin, Bonnie Gattis and husband Dan, Becky Sheffield and husband Kent, Sherry Martin and husband Dean, Dora Trujillo and husband Teddy and Debbie Gomez, Katrina and husband Justin, Tom Townsend, Shannon Townsend. Survivors also include 27 beloved nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and close friends.
