Cindy Rowley

Cindy Rowley

Managing Partner and Pre-Need Specialist

Cindy Rowley has been a licensed pastor for over 25 years and has served at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home since 2011. She and her husband, Marty, have 3 children, Matthew and wife, Traci, Michael and wife, Meredith and Theresa. She has two grandchildren, Salem and Lucy. Cindy loves visiting and getting to know our families so that she can ensure their end of life needs are met. It is important to her that she be there pastorally for our families when they experience the loss of a loved one. Her mission is to serve with integrity, honesty and to provide the finest in funeral service. She pledges that she and the staff at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home will care for those we are blessed to serve, will maintain the highest in moral and ethical standards and that every funeral service will be a true "celebration of life." 


Emily Simmons

Emily Simmons

Managing Funeral Director

Emily Simmons has been a licensed funeral director for 21 years and has been actively working in the funeral industry for 14 years. She also spent many years as a Respiratory Therapist. She is a graduate of the AC Mortuary Science Program. Emily has three daughters, Alison, Mahala and Molly. She also has a granddaughter, Haven. She is a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church. Emily's kind spirit and healthcare background assists her in serving families from a unique perspective and allows her to minister to them in one of their greatest times of need by providing a meaningful experience and service. Emily is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association.  


Jacob Bingham

Funeral Director

With a passion for serving families of the Texas panhandle, Jacob Bingham, an Amarillo native himself, joined the Cox-Rowley family in December of 2019. A graduate of Amarillo College, Jacob has been serving the Panhandle area since 2008. Jacob, his wife Meredith, along with their son Josiah, attend First Baptist Church of Amarillo. He was the recipient of the 2022 Young Funeral Director of the Year award and currently serves on the Panhandle Funeral Directors Association Board. Jacob’s desire is to passionately serve his families with love and integrity as they celebrate the lives of their loved ones. Jacob feels honored to serve the community he loves.


Linda Langford

Linda Langford

Funeral Director

Linda Langford has been a member of the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home family since 2019. A graduate of the Amarillo College Mortuary Science Program, she holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science. Linda is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association. She is a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, Kennedy and Kirsten. Linda has a strong drive and determination to go the extra mile as she serves her families. She has a big heart and clearly delights in loving those who come under her care.



Ashlynne Robinson

Office Administrator

Ashlynne Robinson has been a part of the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home family since 2016. She has served our families in many different capacities in those years; Currently, she operates as the Office Administrator where she best serves by assisting families in filing all of the necessary paperwork associated with a passing. In her time outside of the funeral home she is a self-proclaimed "soccer mom" to her son, Atlas. 



Kerstin Kerr

Provisional Licensed Funeral Director / Video and Print Productions

Kerstin Kerr has been with the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home for 5 years where she currently works as a Provisional Licensed Funeral Director, helping serve our families with the utmost care, as well as in the Video and Print production where she personalizes each stationary package and video she makes for our families that we serve. She graduated from Northeast Texas Community College with her Associates Degree in Applied Science. She has a desire to ensure every families need is met to the best of her abilities. Kerstin has been married to her husband Ryan for over 7 years and together they have two beautiful children, Gavin and Ali.


Victoria Vallejo

Video and Print Production

Victoria Vallejo has worked in Funeral Homes for 8 years, with her first job at Cox Funeral Home, where her love for the ministry began. Victoria is thankful she started this path at Cox as the team taught her how to care for families, cultivating a passion for doing the best for families in their time of need. Victoria came back to Cox-Rowley 3 years ago as a Funeral Attendant until finding her way back to the media and video production spot where her passion for creating could best serve families through the personalized stationery packages. Victoria has one daughter, Lawryn, and together they enjoy painting, crocheting, reading and taking their dog Marci for walks. She believes in showing others love through action and that is what this job allows her to do.


Carol Reyes

Carol Reyes

Receptionist

“Everyone has a story to tell and I enjoy getting to know others.” Carol has lived in Amarillo all her life attending Palo Duro High School and Amarillo College. She worked or volunteered in several capacities while working at Pantex and in the Amarillo area. A friend heard that Cindy was looking for some ladies to help out as needed at the funeral home. Carol applied not having any experience working in a funeral home and found out she really liked it. Carol’s love for others, recognizing the need for people to know they are respected, cared for, and important gives her the tools to do exactly what she is “called to do”. Carol enjoys baking cookies and having beverages on hand while working visitations, as hospitality is one of her gifts.

Carol and her husband, Pablo are both retired from Pantex. They are “Kessie” and “Papa” to Emily, their great-niece, whom they have raised for the last 10 years. They have many other nieces and nephews they are proud of, along with two dogs, a cat (He decided they were his family) and Green Cheek Conure parrot. Trinity Fellowship Church has been their home for over 40 years.

Debbie is excited about being a part of the Cox-Rowley team. Working together to meet the many varied needs of each family that walks through the door is an honor and privilege to serve. Debbie has been married to Chuck for 33 years, and have two adult sons, Zach and Aaron.  


Melissa Collins

Receptionist

Melissa has felt a calling for many years to work at a funeral home. After the loss of her mother she decided to pursue that calling. The Lord led her to Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. She feels it is a privilege to work where she and her family were given so much compassion with the death of her mother and mother-in-law. Melissa's desire is to serve the families here at Cox-Rowley with the same love and compassion she received. Melissa has three adult children and six grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and making precious memories. 


Glennys Viermann

Receptionist

Glennys Viermann has recently joined the Cox-Rowley Funeral Home team and loves being able to serve here. She and her husband Wally have been married for 41 years and have a son Jeremy married to daughter-in-love Erin. Their greatest joy is being Pops and GG to 4 wonderful grandsons and taking beach vacations with the family.


Sharon Mangum

Funeral Assistant

The first job Sharon Mangum had was in a gift and flower shop with a funeral home in the same building in Panhandle, Texas. She quickly learned that her heart was touched with the opportunities in the funeral home to help others at a difficult time with the loss of a loved one. Many years later she is now able to join Cox-Rowley and have a position that allows her to be compassionate, understanding and caring for others in a time of need. She said God opened this door for her after loosing the love of her life, Rick Mangum and now she considers it an honor to share and comfort others during a difficult time. Sheis a long-time member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, the Joy Class and Sanctuary Choir. God has blessed her to be the Mother of one son, Memaw of 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Johnnie Helms

Johnnie Helms

Funeral Assistant

Johnnie, originally from Quitaque, Texas has been serving as a Funeral Assistant with Cox-Rowley Funeral Home since 2016. He is a Vietnam veteran and is a retired Marine. After the Marine Corps he has spent 25 years teaching Marine Corp Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps. He also taught five years at Catholic High School for Boys in Little Rock Arkansas, and twenty years at Caprock High School in Amarillo Texas. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. He proudly serves with The Volleys for Veterans, and is a core group discussion leader in Community Bible Study. Johnnie and his wife Nelda have two children, Terri of Amarillo, and son Phillip of Little Rock and one granddaughter, Ainsley. He is a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church. 


Regina Sheffield

Receptionist

After retiring from medical management in Amarillo in 2003, Regina joined the Cox-Rowley Family in 2023. She is blessed to work with such a caring and compassionate team. Her mission is to bless, comfort and serve our families during their difficult time. Regina has three adult children and six grandchildren. She loves her family and their "get togethers"! 

Vanessa Bocanegra

Receptionist

Vanessa recently joined the Cox-Rowley Family in 2023. She is attending Amarillo College and is pursuing her associates degree in Surgical Technology. Vanessa is one of three children, the middle child and the only girl. Her hobbies include doing her makeup, going to car shows and the gym. While this is her first time working in a funeral home setting, she greets each of our families with a smile and encouragement. She finds happiness being able to serve our families with compassion.
