Cathi I. (Williams) Nichols

Cathi I. Williams Nichols, 54, of Amarillo, died December 27, 2019. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Trinity Fellowship Church – North Campus, 503 E. Willow Creek Drive, with Pastor Bo Williams officiating. Cathi was born May 20, 1965 in Rogers, Arkansas to Jesse and Jeanne Williams. She graduated from Palo Duro High School. She married Gregg Nichols on December 9, 1993 in Amarillo. She worked for the UPS Store. After leaving there, Cathi stayed home and dedicated her time and energy to lovingly caring for her family. She enjoyed crochet and embroidery. She was a talented gardener and loved flowers. She was an excellent baker, and especially enjoyed cake decorating. Cathi loved listening to praise and worship music all the time. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Grady Williams. Survivors include her husband, Greg Nichols; five daughters, Ashley Johnson of Amarillo, Jennifer Sutton and spouse Jordan of Independence, KS, Rachel Ivy and husband Brad of Amarillo, Adriana Nichols and Catelynn Nichols both of the home; a son, Trey Mitchem; a sister, Robin Johnson and husband Michael of Amarillo, and Don Williams and wife Becky of Longview; and seven grandchildren, Amberleigh, Sterling, Kolton, Emilee, Rheagan, Ashton, and Piper.
