Kenneth “Ken” Williams, 75, of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019. Memorial services will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Power Church with Pastor Ron Kohler officiating. Ken was born June 3, 1944 in Amherst, TX to Virgil and Ella Belle Williams. He attended Muleshoe High School in Muleshoe, TX. Ken married the love of his life, Linda Kantner on June 6, 1964 in Amarillo. Ken was a hardworking man who loved all children, Jesus and his beautiful wife dearly. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball and umpired in Amarillo for many years. Ken’s hobbies included coach youth sports, listening to old country music and watching black and white western movies. He was a Professor of Welding at Amarillo College and an avid handyman, welder and carpenter. Ken retired from Pantex after 34 years of service never taking a sick day. His grandchildren had a saying “Grangrad could fix anything.” Ken will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, five brothers and a granddaughter, Karley Elisabeth Williams. Ken is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Williams; two sons, Kenny Williams Jr. and wife Amy and Roger Williams and wife Dalana; a daughter, Kendell Williams; three grandsons, Cayden Morse Williams, Ian Williams and wife Samantha and Trenton Williams and wife Katelin; six granddaughters, Kensey Williams, Kaeley Yocom, Tamra King, Tierra and fiancé Orlando Gayton, Mari Alonzo and husband Juan and Zaydrian and 13 great-grandchildren, Willow, Kopen, Hannah, Kasey, Hagen, Hunter, Caroline, Abigail, Millie, Wesley, Cash, Waylon and Layla Belle.
