She encouraged countless minds and nurtured many hearts during her time as an educator. Melodi married the love of her life, Tommy Woosley on June 7, 1980 at Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon, Texas and was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Amarillo. She was greeted in heaven by her father, Jim Dixon; and a son, Ethan Woosley. She is survived by her husband Tommy; their two children, Mollijane and Tanner; two grandsons, Saelin and Kyson of Amarillo; her mother, Jane Dixon of Friona; siblings, Milon Dixon of Lubbock, Milli Watson of Frederick, OK, and Mendan Dixon of Weatherford; many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws; and many cherished friends.
