Nancy Johnson

Nancy Johnson, 78, of Amarillo, died Friday, October 11, 2019. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Monday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Nancy was born July 24, 1941 in Austin to John and Bertie Dyche. She graduated from Amarillo High School. Nancy worked for Cal Farley’s Boy’s Ranch and later for Boots and Jeans. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Johnson; and two sisters, Pat Wright and Theda Cline. Survivors include a son, Doug Johnson and wife Christy of Amarillo; three step-sons, Marty Johnson and wife Jamie of Rogers, AR, Paul Johnson and wife Cyndi of Gilbert, AZ, and Perry Johnson and wife Terri of Rogers, AR; former spouse, Bill Johnson of Amarillo; former daughter-in-law, Karla Johnson; close friend, Ernest Walker and his family, Kevin and Victoria Walker, and Kameron and Jill Walker; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Cal Farley’s Boy’s Ranch.
