Sharon Lee (Wagner) King, aka “Nana”, 71, of Amarillo passed away September 13, 2019. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at The Loft Church, 4400 Georgia St. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. Sharon was born February 14, 1948 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to Charles and June Wagner. She graduated from Altoona Area High School. She married Charles Robert King, Sr. on September 4, 1969 in Altoona, PA. Sharon was a daycare director for over 28 years. She was the author of two children’s books, and had a passion for caring for and educating children. Sharon reflected the love of Christ to everyone she met. She welcomed all with love, kindness, and acceptance without judgment. She was a loyal friend, a mother to the motherless, and a giver to those in need. Sunshine followed her wherever she went, giving people hope. Survivors include her husband Charles King, Sr.; four children, Kathy White (Kayla) of Borger, Sally King, Charles King, Jr. (Sonia) of Amarillo, and Lisa Hall (Mark) of Jetmore, KS; a sister, Debbie Derry of Altoona, PA; two brothers, C. Blake Wagner (Karen) of Duncansville, PA, and Terry Wagner (Carolyn) of Beaumont; six grandchildren, Monica Gonzalez, Kimberly Hall, Charlee Hall, Jeffrey White, Brenden White, and Samantha King; and four great-grandchildren, Rene Rodriguez, Jaicee Rodriguez, Eliana Enriquez, and Elaida M. Enriquez.
