Sharron Bolt Obituary

Sharron Lee Bolt, 78, of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Sharron was born May 15, 1941 in Duncan, OK to Oran and Retha Cummings. She graduated from Lawton High School in 1959. Sharron married Joe Bolt on December 13, 1959 in Lawton, OK. Sharron was the owner of Sharron’s Shoppe Flowers and Gifts in Fletcher, OK. She retired from the Comanche, OK County Clerk’s Office as an Assistant Purchasing Agent. Sharron was the Field Director for Lawton Camp Fire Girls. She spent several summers out at Camp C’Andy assisting as much as possible ensuring the camp ran smoothly. There she was able to combine work and family, spending time with her daughters out at camp. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lawton prior to moving to Amarillo in 2010. Sharron made bread for communion and helped in the kitchen preparing meals for the Wednesday night youth group (LOGOS). She also helped with the preparing of the Saturday Community Breakfast. Sharron was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church. She was an expert seamstress and an avid quilter. Sharron filled her time while still working and into her retirement with her love of quilting. She made many beautiful quilts that will be cherished by her family. Sharron was a member of Scrappy Ladies Quilter Guild and Wichita Mountains Quilt Guild in Lawton, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Sylvia Hall. Sharron is survived by her three daughters, Aletha Bolt and partner Joe Bussey of Yukon, OK, Teresa Floyd and husband Mark Floyd of Lawton, OK and Cindy Baeza and husband JR Beaza of Amarillo, TX; five grandsons, Justin and Colton Floyd of Lawton, OK, Orlando and Alex Baeza of Amarillo, TX and James Pocowatchit of Denver, CO; four granddaughters, Breanna Baeza, Lucynda Soto and husband Alan and Callie Ford and husband Lloyd all of Amarillo, TX and Samantha Pocowatchit of Midwest City, OK and five great-grandchildren, Eli Ford, Adalyn and Aydan Soto and Aubreigh Jasso all of Amarillo and Maddelyn Kaylee Floyd of Lawton, OK.
