Bill Brice, 76, of Amarillo passed away April 30, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas at 2:00 p.m. Bill was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on April 3, 1942 to Iver and Lillie Brice. He grew up in Arkansas, moved to Turkey in 1950, then Tulia in 1960 before moving to Amarillo in 1967. Bill married Julie Ann Holman in Tulia on June 23, 1967. He worked at Billy Fred's Gun Shop, before becoming a security officer. Bill worked for various banks including First National Bank, Boatman's and Wells Fargo. Bill and Julie enjoyed traveling around the United States. He loved camping, bird watching, guns and was a member of The National Rifle Association. Bill above all loved his family more than anything. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, wife and three brothers, Randall Brice, Jimmy Howard Brice, and Kenneth Brice. Survivors include one sister, Nadine Stidham; one sister- in- law, Barbara Brice; one brother- in- law, Dwight Stevens; numerous nieces, nephew, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 5410 Bell St. #411, and Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, 600 SW 11th Ave.
