Edward Baumgardner

Edward F. Baumgardner, 74 of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018.No services are scheduled at this time. Edward was born May 23, 1943 in Harrisburg, PA to Walter and Grace Baumgardner. He graduated from West Deer High School in West Deer, Pennsylvania in 1961. He married Patricia on June 27, 2008 in Amarillo, Texas. In his career, Ed owned multiple car lots, as well as held various upper management positions at auto parts stores in the Dallas/Ft.Worth metroplex. He was magician when it came to rebuilding all types of carburetors. He loved drag racing, camping, afternoons at the lake and spending time with his grandchildren. You could always count on Ed to be the life of the party. He enjoyed playing pool and dancing with his friends and family. He loved and played hard. He will be missed and never forgotten. Edward is preceded in death by his parents Grace and Walter Baumgardner of Slippery Rock Pennsylvania and his wife Sandra Baumgardner of Amarillo, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Baumgardner of Amarillo; two daughters, Sheila McLaughlin of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, and Tammy Ornelas of Amarillo, Texas; one son, Walter Baumgardner of Denton, Texas; five grandchildren; Edward Ornelas - USARMY - Fort Riley, Kansas, Taylee Elders of Denton, Texas, Tyler Elders of Denton, Texas, Lanie McLaughlin of Allison Park, Pennsylvania and Gunnar Ornelas of Amarillo, Texas.
