Aaron Babbitt, 48, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, April 14, 2025 at Paramount Baptist Church, 3801 S. Western St. with Pastor Lance Herrington officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Aaron was born February 14, 1977 in Plainview, Texas to Harry and Sheliah Babbitt. He graduated from Brewer High School in Ft. Worth in 1995. He attended Amarillo College. Aaron worked in sales and management for many years, having worked for several car dealerships. Most recently he had a landscaping business. He enjoyed college football and was an avid UT fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed cookouts, golfing, watching westerns and going to the lake. He especially loved being an uncle and supporting his niece and nephews in their games and school events.
Aaron had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. He was friend to many and was always willing to help out his friends. He will be greatly missed.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Harry Babbitt.
Survivors include his mother, Sheliah Babbitt of Amarillo; two brothers, Jarrod Babbitt and wife Kristin, and Trevor Babbitt all of Amarillo; a niece, Bella Babbitt; and two nephews, Brody Babbitt and Bowen Babbitt.
