Adelina Vidaurri Flores, 64, went home with her Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2014.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Charlie Cox officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Adelina was born Nov. 11, 1949, in Mathis to Ramon and Lilia Flores. She moved to Wilson as a child, where she spent her childhood. She moved to Amarillo in 1981.
Adelina devoted her life to caring for her family. She also worked as a nanny for many years. She was a talented baker. Her family will always cherish the memories they shared with her of dancing and going to casinos with her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three daughters, Adelina Albarran and husband Arturo, Anna Martinez and husband Ramon and Belinda Sena; a son, Paul Medina Jr., all of Amarillo; three sisters, Adelfa Calderon, Angelina Betancourt and husband Julian and Angelita Moya, all of Slaton; a brother, David Flores of Amarillo; 20 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
