Albert Jaso Jr., 74, of Amarillo, passed away on October 21, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Church of God of the Firstborn 603 E. Halsell St. in Dimmitt, Texas, with Pastor Jesse Ramirez officiating. The family will receive friends and hear words from Pastor Fernando Fernandez, come and go, between 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Albert was born May 12, 1951, in Quanah, Texas, to Albert and Stella Jaso, and attended Quanah High School. Albert was a devoted husband to his late wife, Frances, and deeply loved his family.
Albert spent his career in the HVAC industry. Away from work, he was happiest outdoors - fishing, camping, and showing up for every family get-together he could. He was a talented guitar player and he enjoyed playing worship music at church. His faith grounded him as a longtime member of the Church of God of the Firstborn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frances.
He is survived by his son, Ismael Jaso of Lubbock, Texas; his daughter, Lori Kowalik of Florida; his brother, Daniel Jaso and wife, Margaret, of Dallas, Texas; and his sister, Margaret Guajardo of Amarillo, Texas; his grandson, Andrew Jaso and great-grandson, Michael Jaso.
