Alfred "Butch" Laddie Davis

Alfred “Butch” Laddie Davis, 73, of Plano, passed away on May 05, 2023. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 AM July 22, 2023 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive, officiated by Brandi Leach. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Al was born on October 13, 1949 in Pampa to Alfred Lee Davis and Dorothy Rose Worley. He was a recipient of the Eldon Durrett Scholarship and attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon before continuing on to receive a Masters of Finance from Texas Tech University. Al was very active and grew up playing sports. He especially enjoyed Basketball, Football and Tennis. As Al got older, he enjoyed spending his free time playing on the golf course. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and spending quality time with his family. Al had an infectious sense of humor and was always ready to share a new joke. Al had a passion for living and was loved by so many. He will be missed. Al was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bill Davis and one sister, Andy Reed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Marc Davis and his wife Tracy of Long Beach, California; his sister, Becky Cota and her husband Bob of Amarillo; his step-daughter, Stephanie Southerland Harbin and her husband Will of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Molly Elizabeth Davis, Colin Jeffrey Davis, Katherine McKinney Harbin, and Isabelle Pinckney Harbin. Survivors also include a host of extended family and close friends.
