Allen Wayne Reynolds

Allen Wayne Reynolds, 75, of Amarillo passed away on November 12, 2020 at his home. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday February 6, 2021 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Gary Hall officiating. Allen (Wayne) was born June 9, 1945 in Wheeler to Allen and Nadene Reynolds. He grew up in Allison and moved to Amarillo after high school. Allen was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War from 1967-1969. He worked for the Smither plant and Bell Helicopter. He drove a truck hauling medical waste and helium for a number of years before he retired. Allen enjoyed camping at various lakes in Red River, New Mexico and going to Fun Valley in South Fork, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Debi; one niece, Kimberly Hall; one nephew, Clayton Lay. Survivors include a son Chris Reynolds and Scott Martin; Grandchildren include Zack Martin, Tyler, Dakota and Piper Reynolds; sisters, Linda Hall and husband Gary, and Vickie Lay both of Amarillo, Debra Boydston and husband Bennie of Allison, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
