Allen L. Winters

Allen was born on November 24, 1932 in Amarillo to Leonard and Martha Winters. He was raised on their family farm in Randall County, graduating from Canyon High School. He then enlisted in the United States Army, where he worked as a Military Police until his honorable discharge in 1954. Allen was a 4th generation farmer, farming and ranching in Randall County his entire life. He enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding dirt bikes. He is survived by his wife, Mary Winters of Amarillo; son, David Winters and wife Melanie of Canyon; brother, John Winters; 3 grandchildren, Mason and wife Jenna, Matt and wife Christina and Sara and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Whitton.
