Andy was born March 15, 1940, in Hubbard, Ohio, to James and Eleanor Camouse. He graduated from Hubbard High School and later proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Andy married Sharon Hayhurst in Amarillo on August 18, 1962. Together, they recently celebrated 64 years of marriage. He was a loving husband and a wonderful father who was always there for his family.
Andy worked as a meat processor and was the owner of Andy’s Custom Meats. He loved fishing and was always happy to go, whether he caught anything or not. He also enjoyed watching westerns, especially John Wayne movies, and could often quote them.
Andy was a quiet, calm, and even-tempered man who didn’t say much, but when he spoke, you listened. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly and was a man his family considered themselves blessed to have.
Andy is survived by his wife, Sharon Camouse of the home; daughters, Shellie Stebbins and husband, Kent, of Amarillo, and Stephanie Longwell of Amarillo; brother, Sam Camouse and wife, Kitty, of Hubbard, Ohio; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eleanor Camouse; his son, Stephen Camouse, sister, Josephine Camouse; and brothers, Francis and James Camouse.
