Angelica Marie Morales-Medina

Angelica Marie Morales-Medina, 47, passed away October 21, 2022. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday October 29, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Church, 4122 Bonham St, with Father Hector Madrigal officiating. A rosary service will start at 6:00 PM and family will be accepting friends from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive on Friday October 28, 2022.

Angelica Marie was born to Juan and San Juana Morales on June 2, 1975 in Hereford, TX. She attended Hereford High School then went on to graduate from Caprock High School. Angelica went on to further her education and received her LVN at Frank Phillips College. She married Julio Medina in September of 2005. Angelica was a very hard worker, always taking care of her loved ones. She was strong willed and also strong minded. Angelica was the life of the party, always making sure that everyone was having a great time. She had a heart the size of Texas, she was always helping others and only a phone call away. Angelica enjoyed to play pool, to dance and especially to ride motorcycles. She was a great nurse and was compassionate to her patients. Angelica was a loving wife, mother and “Wica” to her grandbabies. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and San Juana Morales.

Survivors include her husband, Julio of the home; her two daughters, Yazmin Ortiz of Amarillo; Yimia Montelongo and husband Alexis of Alamo, TX; her son, Yahir Medina of Amarillo; her three stepsons, Cesar Medina and wife Maria of Houston; Javier Medina of Amarillo; Kevin Medina of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Alheli and Azalea Montelongo of Alamo, TX; her sister, Criselda Villanueva and husband Eduardo of San Anotonio, TX; two brothers, Ben Morales of Amarillo; Juan Morales and wife Slivia of McAllen, TX; her in-laws Jose and Cristina Medina of Amarillo. Survivors also include a host of other family members and dear friends.
