Ann Timmons Cook

August 6, 1936 — September 30, 2014

Ann was born on August 6, 1936 in Dimmitt to Henry and Ethel Timmons. She was raised in Tulia and Dimmitt before moving to Killeen, where she graduated from high school. She was a talented basketball point guard and boasted of going to state championship her senior year. Ann married Donnie Cook on August 21, 1964 in Amarillo. They have been faithful members of Temple Baptist Church for over 15 years. She loved watching romantic and action movies. Most of all, Ann loved her family and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Cook of Amarillo; son, Jason Cook and wife Traci of Amarillo; 3 daughters, Kim George of Amarillo, Pam Jenkins of Amarillo and Shawna Sharp and spouse, Tait Dalton of Santa Fe, NM; honorary son, Parker Sharp of Amarillo; sister, Dee Briscoe and husband Bill of Dimmitt; 9 grandchildren, Lacee and husband Dustin, Trey and wife Karli, Candace and husband Curtis, Brennon and wife Laura Paige, Madison, Spencer, Keaton and wife Lindsy, Nicholas and Justin and 4 great grandchildren, Branch, Eleanor, Loraliah and Delilah. Ann is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Jim, Ted and Bill Timmons.
