She was a dedicated and hardworking nurse in the Amarillo medical community for over 25 years. Later in her career, she became the Director of Clinical Services at Olsten Kimberly Quality Care. Anyone reading this would have no doubt of Arla’s drive to care for patients and families in need. Arla enjoyed her family and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by her grandbabies, playing with them and giving them her valuable time. She enjoyed cooking and baking her Grandma Brown’s homemade bread recipe and sharing with others. Spending time at the family home in the mountains, at Eagle Nest, was her and the family’s favorite past time. Arla was heavily involved in the women’s ministry at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, assisting with counseling women of all ages. Above all, she devoted her life to Jesus Christ, and lived her life in accordance with the Word of God. She had an unwavering faith and enduring love for the Lord.
