Armando Lopez

Armando Lopez, age 61, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2026.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch Chapel. Burial will follow at Boot Hill Cemetery at Boys Ranch. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Armando was born on October 13, 1961, in Alliance, Nebraska. He spent his life working as a dedicated baker at places such as Homeland, Albertsons, and United. Outside of work, Armando found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved golfing and listening to rock and roll music. Known for his laid-back nature, Armando had a sense of humor and was always ready with a joke, bringing smiles to those around him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Lopez, and his sister, Janie.

Armando is survived by his son, Todd Lopez; his four grandchildren, Terry-Michael Lopez, Cole Lopez, Cameron Lopez, and Aurora Lopez; his brother, Juan M Ramonez; his sister, Maris Secena, and nieces, Christna Ramonez, Miranda Ramos, Alexis Ramos; along with other loving family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
