Arthur William Clark, 77, lived in Amarillo, Texas and was affectionately known as Buck by his family and friends. Buck passed from this life on Thursday August 29, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday September 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. Buck was born in Picher, Oklahoma to Geneva Collins on April 14, 1947. He was raised and spent most of his life in the Texas Panhandle area. Buck worked and lived on a ranch for a good portion of his young adult life and then moved on to driving a variety of commercial trucks, mainly bull haulers. He loved the western life and all that went with it. Buck married Joy Worley on February 8, 1991. His hobbies were creating wielded works of art, playing cards with family and friends; he also enjoyed reading westerns and mysteries.
He is preceded in death by his mother Geneva Collins; his sister Mary Martinez; nephew Jason Martinez and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his wife Joy Clark; his brother-in-law Tony Worley; two brothers, Jimmy and his wife Diane; Junior and his wife Lynnis; his three step-children LaSinda Chism husband Jimmie; Gay Ehrler husband Cory; Travis Lewis wife Nicole. In addition, six step-grandchildren, and 10 step-great grandchildren. Survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
