Our precious Audra began the next part of her journey on December 31, 2016.
She was a person of extraordinary beauty, both inside and out, and her light and laughter brightened our world. She was a fierce and loyal friend. She was an accomplished artist and writer-ever continuing to amaze with her endless creativity. She loved the mountains and gardening and always kept fresh flowers to brighten her home. She was passionate about animals and animal rescues-evidenced by the fact there were always more pictures of her animals on Facebook, than of her.
She was unapologetically goofy and a proud geek-counting her authentic Sting replica sword and her Hello Kitty among her prized possessions. She was full of laughter and jokes, any time spent with her would be full of uncontrollable tears of laughter. She was an avid gamer and comic geek, who was gracious enough to warn friends and family when a new game came out that she probably wouldn't be reachable for a few weeks.
She was a warm and loving companion to the love of her life Stetson, and a devoted daughter, sister, and aunt. She had dedicated her studies to becoming a counselor to help other with their struggles-struggles that she knew all too well. She waged her battle fiercely and for many years. She fought bravely and valiantly, and sometime all on her own.
And for all these things, we are so proud of the amazing woman she became, and while our world may be a little darker because she is gone-our job now is to continue to carry her light with us and show it to the world.
She is survived by her beloved partner Stetson Wellborn, her precious bunny Blue, and her fur baby Charles. She is also survived by her parents Pamela Avey and Gary Luman, as well as her bonus parents Lily Luman and Terry Avey; her sister and nephew, Cristen Luman and Connor, her brothers Joey Avey and Ronny Avey, and nephew JB Avey; her grandparents Ora Lea and Ray Latta, Joyce Luman., and Loueta Avey; and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Rod and Carlene Latta; Grandfather Gordon Dutch Luman; and her dearest cousin Jeremy McClellan.
