Barbara Bradshaw

Barbara was born November 21st, 1947 in Lubbock, Tx to Alvin Dockery and Eva Shannon. She was a hairdresser most of her life, retiring in 1998. She was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer in late May of this year. Barbara fought the good fight until she couldn't fight anymore and passed September 2, 2017. She was a devoted mother, nana, sister and friend. Barbara spent many mornings at the Cattleman's Cafe where she was an avid coffee drinker. She made many friends there over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Thompson and Teressa Moerike; son, Donnie Thompson, all of Amarillo; 3 grandchildren, Kenny, Amber and Andrew Astle, all of Amarillo; sister, Anna Watkins of Amarillo; brother, Billy Dockery of Weatherford, Tx and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. She will be missed by many. The family would like to thank you for the continuous prayers over the last several months of her fight.
