Barbara Ann Davis

Barbara Davis, 81, passed from this life on February 19, 2019. She was born in Dayton, OH on June 25, 1937 to Minor and Mildred Bolen. She married the love of her life, Odell Davis, on March 26, 1960 in Dayton. Barbara was a loving wife and mother of seven. If that wasn't enough, she and her husband fostered over 30 kids and raised their granddaughter, Jade. Barbara was always caring to others, wanting to help anyone she could in any way possible, welcoming them with open arms. She was a devoted Catholic attending mass every Sunday that she was physically able. Her loving and caring nature was infectious, taking over everyone that came around, spreading smiles and cheer. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Davis; brothers, Robert Bolen and Larry Bolen and sister, Bonita Bolen. Barbara leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Odell; daughters, Angela, Kathleen and husband Art, Michelle and husband Ray, Rose and husband Steve; sons, Kyle and wife Machael, and Chris; nieces, Lisa Jordan and Doneta Brown; a nephew, Kevin Bolen; several great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece and nephew. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and one more expected in September.
