Barbara Lewallen

Barbara was born on April 4, 1944 in Kilgore to Gurber and Sarah Bradberry. She met her husband Richard Lewallen over CB Radio and the two of them were married on April 1, 1989. She enjoyed traveling with him as he drove a truck throughout the country. Barbara worked as a teacher for over 12 years and was most recently employed at Lakeview Elementary. She was known as "Grandma" to all, including coworkers and friends. Barbara loved crafting and fishing in her spare time. She is survived by her husband, Richard Lewallen of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Jean Langrill and Robert of Devine and Vicki Hunt and husband Pat Murphy of Amarillo son, Richard Lewallen and wife Sarah of Clovis; step daughter, Amy Lewallen of Lubbock; sister, Beverly Cline of Kilgore; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Bradberry; daughter, Sharie Armstrong and granddaughter, Amanda Langrill.
