Barbara Moore

Barbara Moore, 56, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at New Life Four Square Church, 5515 SW 50th Ave, with Pastor Burton McIlroy officiating.

Barbara was born November 1, 1964 in Amarillo to Jerry Don and Carolyn Sue Rivers. She attended Caprock High School. She married Rodger Moore on September 10, 1983. Barbara dedicated her life to caring for family. She worked for the Vista Programs with the Boy Scouts for four years. She was a Boy Scout troop leader, camp director and also started several troops. She was an Antelope in Wood Badge with beads. She was a member of New Life Four Square Church, where she served in the nursery. Barbara was very kind and had a fierce love for her family. She was an avid hockey and racing fan. She enjoyed watching the Silver Dollar Speedway.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Sue Hood; a daughter, Phylis Sherie Moore; and two sisters, Donna Alward and Tanja Rivers.

Survivors include her husband, Rodger Moore; her children, Tiffany Nepper of Amarillo, Dallas Moore of South Dakota, Sasha De Santis of Amarillo, Austin Moore, Gracie Moore and Tyler Moore all of the home; two brothers, Robby Hood and Bobby Hood; her grandchildren, Houston De Santis, Colton De Santis, Slayton De Santis, Ryan Nepper, Zachary Nepper, Caleb Hughes, Nevaeh Hughes, Jasper Moore, and Abilene Moore.
