Barbara Lynn Vickery

Barbara Lynn Vickery passed from this life on October 21st at 11:35 AM. The world lost the Sweetest lady, but heaven gained an angel.

Barbara was born in Pampa, Texas on July 1, 1949 to Allan and Mildred Vickery. She graduated from Pampa High School and attended West Texas State University, where she played volleyball. She was the first woman to be employed by the Texaco refinery, and later Owned her own drilling company. Her energy and determination were impressive to all who Knew her.

During the last four and a half years of her life she made her home at Ware Senior Living Center, where she kept everyone smiling. Barbara was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Cathedral.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Day of Fort Worth; Her brother Michael and wife Laura Vickery of Athens, Nephew, Brian Day and his wife Lori, Nephew Chad Day and wife Jenn and their children - Lenox, Lincoln, and Luca. Her wonderful, supportive friends will miss her greatly; Sandy Hutson, Joan Herron, Tonna Clardy and Nancy Burnham
