Barbara Ellen (Kopeski) Woodfin, 69 of Amarillo, passed away on September 19, 2024. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday October 5, 2024 at Circle S Fiestas Event Center, 451 E Loop 335 South. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Barbara was born on September 26, 1954 in Boston Massachusetts to Edward and Laura Kopeski. She grew up and became a hairdresser and eventually a correctional officer. Barbara was known to be very outspoken and was never afraid to speak her mind. Once you met her, you never forgot her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, two of her brothers and a baby girl.

Survivors include her husband of almost 20 years, Robbie Woodfin, of the home; her two children, her son, Charlie (Chuck) Melear and her daughter, Amanda Holland and husband Tim all of Amarillo; Her brothers, Lee Worth and wife Karen of Lubbock, Skip Kopeski of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mark Worth and wife Pat of Lane, South Carolina; her sister, Linda Killen and husband Marshall of Cleveland, Texas; six grandchildren, Tesla, Axton, Andrew, Journey, Brandon and Kassandra; five great grandchildren, Zoe, Dakkota, Sebastien, Riverly and Brexleigh. Survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

She will be missed by so many and her absence will always be felt.
