Betty Alvarado Aragon

Betty was born May 15, 1974 in Amarillo to Augustine and Rafaela Salazar Alvarado. She attended Palo Duro High School and on August 31, 1991, she married Robert Aragon in Amarillo. She was a devoted wife, mother and family member that loved cooking, especially at Thanksgiving. Her family was her life and was a dependable and hard working person the family counted on heavily. She was a member of St. Martin Church. Her unique and beautiful laugh was infectious. She supported her husband in all his sporting events and together, shared a love for the Dallas Cowboys and watching her nephews play football. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert; her children, Elizabeth, Emily Ann, Esabell Rafaela Aragon and Jacob Ethan Holt; her parents, Augustine and Rafaela Salazar Alvarado; her siblings, Jimmie Alvarado and wife Harriet, Becky Urias, Joe Alvarado and wife Kari, Vicky Encinias and husband Donald, Ricardo Alvarado, Linda Guerrero and husband Robert, Rosie Gonzalez and husband Raul; her special nephews, Donald Encinias III, Zachary and Xavier Encinias; as well as a host of nieces, other nephews, cousins and friends.
