Betty June Higdon

Betty June Higdon 81, of Amarillo passed away, March 10, 2022. Betty was born on March 26, 1940 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to BC and Ora Pennington. She was raised in Olton. Betty loved her family and her Lord. Her family meant the world to her and her furbaby Abby G as well. She was a member of the River Road Baptist Church for 29 years. She loved John Wayne movies and caring for all animals. Betty loved spending time in the mountains. She worked at Hastings for 16 years as an order filler. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know and love her. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Deborah June Graves; sister Ann Mae Weathers and a brother LB Pennington.

Left to cherish her memories is her daughter Belinda Graves; granddaughter Jennifer Cantiello; sister Nancy Alexander along with many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
