Beverly D. (Gillispie) Magouirk

Beverly D. Gillispie MaGouirk, 70, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday in the Student Ministries Building at Trinity Fellowship Church, 5000 Hollywood Road with Pastor Kyle Wilkinson officiating.

Beverly was born July 16, 1951 in Lamesa, Texas to John and Peggy Gillispie. She graduated from Crowell High School in 1969. She worked for Amarillo National Bank, became a legal secretary early in her career, and then went on to work for Pantex as medical division secretary for 20 years, from 1994-2014. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. To say that Beverly had a servant’s heart was an understatement. She was benevolent with her time and talents. She found joy in caring for others and giving of her time. She very much enjoyed time that she spent with friends and family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Darlene Nunn.

Survivors include her son, Shaun MaGouirk and wife Misty of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Nyla Mae MaGouirk and Olive Harper MaGouirk; and two sisters, Jacque Riley and husband Joe of Groom, TX, and Kimberly Daily of Amarillo. She is also survived by three nieces, Randi Jo Bayless, Lauren Daily, and Addison Daily; two nephews, Col. Chris Nunn and Jason Nunn; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
