Bill Green

Bill was born January 9, 1943 in Wareham, Massachusetts, to Elsie and William Green. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1963-1967. He earned his Associates Degree in Electronics from Texas State Technical Institute and made the Dean's list in 1981. With his intelligence, he went to work for Phillips Petroleum as an Electrical Technician, working at various sites across the United States. He retired with Phillips Petroleum in Williamstown, Kentucky. He married his soul mate Annie Ferrell in Amarillo on January 23, 1980, and together they celebrated 35 years of marriage. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the NRA and American Legion. He was known to be a practical joker, a fantastic man to his family and by his grandchildren, the greatest Papa Bill ever. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Elsie and William and a sister, Carol Green. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Annie; his children, Denise Jenkins, Anthony Green, Debbie Henson and husband Tom, Wesley Rogers, Rick Rogers and wife Ubby, Robby Rogers and wife Sharon; 14 grandchildren, Janice, Jodie, Roseanne, Charee, Amber, Kole, Desiree, Damien, Toni, Madison, Rayelynn, Isaiah, Josiah and Serenity; 5 great grandchildren, Gavin, Jentry, Jude, Emma and Charlee; his sister, Juanita Downing and husband Dennis; as well as several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
