Bill was born on July 27, 1930 in Athens to Robert Cason and Clydeal Kale. He moved to Amarillo in 1945, where he married Yvonne Busby on March 4, 1949. Bill worked for Railway Express beginning in 1954 and retired in 1977. He then owned and operated Evergreen apartments until 1997. He was most at home at the boatdock, the Donut Stop or in his truck. All the grandsons have many memories of times on the lake, fishing and water skiing. He was a solid rock to the entire extended family and was someone you could always rely on.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to Jack Worsham- his Donut Stop buddy and Mary Ann Cantu, his hospice nurse.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Kale of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Teri Roller and husband Tom of Amarillo and Debbie Kite of Amarillo; 5 grandsons, Andrew Roller and wife Jeni, Timothy Roller, Daniel Roller, Nicholas Trook and wife Lori and Benjamin Roller and fiancé, Shelley; 7 great grandchildren, Glori Roller, Evan Roller, Gabi Roller, Andi Roller, Payton Roller, Justus Roller and Millie Roller.
