Bill R Kitzhaber

Bill Kitzhaber, 75, of Childress, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021. A memorial will be held in Childress at a later date and his ashes will be scattered at another date in Yampa, CO.

Bill was born in Loveland, Colorado to James and Rae Kitzhaber. James, commonly known as Jim, was a flooring contractor and owned many businesses throughout Colorado and Idaho. Bill joined the family business in Boise, Idaho after graduating from Moffat County High School in Craig, Colorado in 1964. He lived in Idaho, Oregon and Texas working in the flooring business for over 40 years.

Bill was preceded in death by Dad Jim, Mother Rae and son Christopher.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gooch of Childress TX, son Jeremy (Sharette) Kitzhaber, daughter Jennifer (Rick) Coonrod of Meridian, ID, Brothers James (Jimmy), Paul, and half-sister Laura Dillard, Ashleigh of California, James, Joey, Alyssa, Tony, and Andi of Idaho, Zack and Ben of Oregon, great grands Aden, Lukas & Ava in California, stepson Benjamin (Beth) Koucherik, Laila and Chloe in IL and his true love, Cora the Corgi.
