Bill Moneymaker

Bill was born March 4, 1942 in Knox County, TN, to Gladys and Claude Moneymaker. Born and raised in Tennessee, he left home and joined the army at the age of 17. He married the love of his life, Marty Martinez in February of 1964. In 1966, they moved to Amarillo where he was a truck driver for many years, retiring from ABF in 2003. He was affectionately known as "Pop" to his family. He loved life, fishing and the Tennessee Volunteers. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a sister. He is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Marty; 2 daughters, Yvonne Apodaca and husband Robert of Amarillo, Yvette Williams and husband Kurt of Jasper; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Helen Swafford and Peggy Patty both of Knoxville, TN.
