Bill Rich

Bill was born January 1, 1936 to in Los Angeles, California to George and Janet Rich. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955-1959. He worked as a welder and fabricator. Bill also worked for Knotts Berry Farm, teaching how to pan for gold. As a hobby, he loved hunting for treasure with his metal detector. Bill moved to Amarillo in 2012. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Michelle Rich and Patricia Rinehart, both of California; and six sons, Lonnie Rich and wife Joy, Bill Rich, Jerry Rich all of California, Mike McGregor and wife Sheri of Amarillo, Asa Carmichael and wife Brenda of Utah, and Michael Munson.
