Billie Faye Hager, 66, of Amarillo died Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5401 Bell St. Burial will be at 9:00 am Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Billie Faye was born March 31, 1951 in Tucumcari, New Mexico to Debs and Mildred Kelly. She graduated from Tucumcari High School, and attended the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology at Socorro, NM. She married Gary Hager on August 14, 1971. They moved to Amarillo in 1982. Billie Faye was a very talented seamstress and an avid quilter. She was a part of many quilting clubs over the years. She enjoyed serving in her church. She most especially adored her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Kelley Hager. Survivors include her husband, Gary Hager; two sons, Stoney Hager and wife Phetphaysone, and Joe E. Hager and wife Rebecca all of Amarillo; a daughter, Shannon Alexander of Cedar Park; two brothers, Debs Kelly, Jr. and wife Marilyn of Walsenburg, Colo, and Charles Kelly and wife Dana of Bakersfield, Calif; three sisters, Gene Black of Tulsa, Okla, Nova Hiers and husband Bill of Portland, Oreg, and Martha Lytle and husband Don of Grants, NM; and six grandchildren.
