Billy C. Carpenter

Billy was born on July 26, 1946 in Baton Rouge, LA to William "Bill" and Evelyn Carpenter. He was raised in Baton Rouge, where he attended Louisiana State University as well as Southeastern Louisiana University. He then proudly enlisted in the United States Air force, serving in the Vietnam War. Billy married Annette Parsons in 1968 in Amarillo. He was a mighty man of God, who loved the scriptures and loved to share God's word with others. He served as a pastor in 5 churches in 3 states as well as working in several other positions throughout his lifetime. He is survived by his wife, Annette Carpenter of Amarillo; son, Jerry Lee Carpenter and wife Trina of Canyon; mother, Evelyn Carpenter of Baton Rouge and 3 grandchildren, Michael, Katherine "Katie" and Nevaeh Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his father.
