Billy Joe Wall

Billy Joe Wall, 69, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on September 21, 2025.

He was born November 17, 1955 to Bill and Charlotte Wall. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1974. On January 17, 1976, Billy married the love of his life, Lynn, and together they raised three sons. He dedicated 50 years to the HVAC industry before retiring on January 25, 2024.

Billy’s greatest joy came from spending time with family and friends—often behind the grill, perfecting his BBQ. He had a knack for binge-watching just about anything, and his love for basketball—especially Caitlin Clark—was unmatched. Known for his good humor, if Billy ever called you a “ginzel” or “wench”, it was his way of letting you know he liked you.

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ray Wall and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Billy is survived by his wife, Lynn; son Brandon and wife Stepheni, son Cody and wife Amanda, son Dustin and wife Lindsey; 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Addy, Jarret, Jayden, Kadin, Blake, Zack, Haven, Aubree, and Berklee; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Myla; his mother, Charlotte; his brother Donnie and wife Sally; sister Kim; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

In true Billy fashion, the family will honor him with a “Farewell Party” at a later date.
