Bob Alexander

March 12, 1949 — December 7, 2014

Bob was born March 12, 1949, in Clovis, NM, to Hester and Bob Alexander, Sr. He was gainfully employed with Park West, a subsidiary of Baptist Community Services. He was an artist by trade, with an impeccable work ethic. He aspired for greatness in all his endeavors. He was an alumnus of West Texas A & M University, Amarillo College, where he taught art and he loved his schools. He was a member of New Testament Christian Church. During his life, he served as a pastor and evangelist and had a great impact on many lives. He also volunteered at Faith City Ministries teaching pottery classes. He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Alexander, and by a brother, Charles Alexander. He is survived by his sons, Tim and Shawn Alexander both of Amarillo; his mother, Hester Smotherman of Clovis, NM; a brother, Ray Smotherman of Killeen; brothers-in-law, Joe Parker of Glendale, AZ, Don and J.C. Parker both of Farmington, NM, and David Parker of Mena, AR; as well as a host of other family and many friends.
