Bobbie Mae Anderson

Bobbie Mae Anderson, 91, of Amarillo, died Sunday, December 17, 2017. Memorial services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home- Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Bobbie was born October 10, 1926 in Boyce, Texas to Robert and Lula Godfrey. She graduated from high school in Venus, Texas. She married Charles R. Anderson on February 13, 1946 in Ft. Worth. Bobbie was a wonderful mother. She loved caring for her family. She was a great cook, and especially enjoyed making lasagna and chocolate chip cookies. She was a member of Saint Stephen United Methodist Church. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Anderson; and a son, Richard Anderson. Survivors include two sons, Ken Anderson of Amarillo, and Stuart Anderson and wife Suzanne of Frisco; a daughter, Kaye Clark and husband Randy of Fritch; four grandchildren, Matthew Anderson, Derek Anderson, Bradley Libertowsky, and Amy Libertowsky; and six great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to BSA Hospice of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore, Amarillo, TX 79106.
