Bobbie Lee Nesbit, 100, passed away on June 11, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Bobbie Lee Harris was born on Sunday April 11, 1926 in Temple, Texas to Henry and Belle Dupree Harris, the youngest of three children. At the age of 18 months, the family moved to Plainview, Texas. Her childhood was very happy with lifelong friends and many precious memories.

Bobbie and Carl Scott Nisbet, Jr. were married on December 31, 1951 at First Presbyterian Church in San Angelo, Texas. For 63 years the marriage was blessed with happiness and four children they loved dearly. The family moved to Houston for 10 years and loved their founding church membership in Bethel Independent Presbyterian Church. Bobbie worked in general insurance and was honored to be the first lady to be invited to the opening in London of the new Lloyds of London Headquarters.

Leaving their church was sad when the family moved to Pampa, Texas in 1966 where they lived for 42 years. A new career as a Realtor-Broker developed in Pampa, which allowed her to make many new friends who soon were old friends. Bobbie and Scott were contacted by a group of Pampa residents who wanted help in organizing a new church. She was active in the Republican Party and was elected District Committee-Woman, serving two terms on the State Republican Executive Committee. She was also elected delegate to both the 1976 and 1980 National Republican Conventions, proudly casting the District's vote for Ronald Reagan both years.

In 2008, Bobbie and Scott made a decision to move to Park Place Towers in Amarillo. The children understood and were in agreement that it would be the beginning of another chapter in their parents' lives. New friends and membership in Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church added to their spiritual depth and enjoyment of living in Amarillo. Travels to 16 foreign countries were enjoyed in retirement years. She also loved to read and study her Bible and devotionals, play bridge, dance and watch golf and football on TV.

Bobbie is predeceased by her beloved husband, Scott Nisbet; daughter, Janet Nisbet Tipton; son, Michael B. Nisbet; son-in-law Gary Richardson; daughter-in-law Susan K. Nisbet; grandson Scott Tobin; her parents; and her two brothers, Curtis Harris and Joe Henry Harris.

Survivors include daughter Lee N. Harris (Wes) of Amarillo, daughter Susan N. Richardson of Texarkana, and niece Celia Hedges of Show Low, AZ; six grandsons David and Wesley Hood, Matthew and Grant Richardson, Chris Moler and Sam Nisbet; granddaughter Whitney Beth Flowers; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
