Bobby Clark

Bobby Clark, 73, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, September 19, 2025, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley funeral home.

Bobby was born April 14, 1952 in Quanah, Texas to Ozell and Emma Clark. He married the love of his life, Becky Hodges on December 21, 1970. Together, they raised three kids and enjoyed 54 years of marriage, until her passing in August of this year. He was self-employed as a house painter for over 30 years, before going to work in security at various facilities for a number of years.

In his spare time, Bobby could be found sitting outside, enjoying a cigar and a Diet Coke, and listening to 50’s and 60’s music. He took a lot of pride in his yard and kept it looking great. He was quick-witted and loved spending time with his grandkids. He was into model cars and classic cars, having owned a ’57 Chevy and a ’57 Ford years ago. Bobby had some health problems but he didn’t let them get him down. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Becky Clark; a son, Bobby “Bud” Clark, Jr.; four sisters, Sandra Stovall, Peggy Schaef, Sue Schaef, and Anita Mobler; and three brothers, Danny Clark and wife Elaine Clark, Ricky Clark and Junior Clark.

Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Clark and husband T.L. Holman, and Brandi Clark and husband Jeremy Gilbert all of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
