Bonnie Guyer

Coleen was born September 15, 1929 in Fair Valley, OK, to Hattie Lamb and Vernie Calvin McNeil. She graduated from Waynoka High School in Oklahoma. On February 14, 1949, she married Charles Guyer, together sharing 66 years of marriage, before he predeceased her on July 24, 2015. She was a member of SanJacinto Church of Christ. She enjoyed going to Padre Island on the coast and Wolf Creek Pass in the mountains. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years, Charles, a son, Craig Guyer, a daughter, Charla Guyer, and her sister, Eunice Hinderliter. Surviving Coleen are her daughter, Marsha Thomas and husband Gale, daughter-in-law, Lori Guyer; 6 grandchildren, Scott Thomas and Alicia, Chase Guyer and Isabella, Stephanie Finley and Billy, Cole Guyer and Megan, Sheldon Thomas and Berkley, Lynsie Green and Zac; 7 great grandchildren, Jayla, Marley, Addison, Hunter, Brayden, Maddox, and Kinslee; nephew, Veston Hinderliter and caregiver, Jennett Finley, whom the family wishes to express deep gratitude for the care of Coleen. The family suggests memorials be made to the Hi Plains Children's Home, 11461 S. Western Street, Amarillo, TX 79118 or a charity of ones choosing.
