Brenda “Nana” Collins, 79, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2021. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Pastor Randy Srader officiating.
Brenda was born January 22, 1942 in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Lorene Moore. She raised four children and dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a sassy, stubborn lady who had a fierce love for animals, especially her dogs. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, and going to all their events. The family is extremely grateful for the memories they were able to make with her over the last few days.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three sons, Ricky Collins and wife Trisha of Amarillo, Timmy Collins of Seattle, WA, and Kevin Collins and wife Laura of Amarillo; a daughter, Teresa Porter and husband Curtis of Amarillo; four sisters, Janet Moore and Anita Belt both of Wichita, KS, Linda Thompson of Albuquerque, NM, and Shirley Linsea of Emporia, KS; a brother, Gary Moore of Wichita, KS; and seven grandchildren, Michael Collins, Morgan De Leon, Justin Collins, Ashley Porter, Nicole Collins, Courtney Collins, and Kaylee Porter.
