Brenda Laubhan

Brenda G. Laubhan, 64, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Brenda was born December 10, 1956 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Thomas and Ethel Irwin. She grew up in Fort Wayne, and went to nursing school there. She started her family before becoming a nurse, and dedicated her life to caring for them. Brenda, however, did work in nursing homes, because she had a heart for geriatric people. Brenda married Carl Laubhan in 1999. They have enjoyed many happy years together. Brenda enjoyed cooking, painting and doing jigsaw puzzles in her spare time. She would even stop in the grocery store to help someone who was having trouble with an ingredient list. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Carl Laubhan; two daughters, Jo Gail Jordan of Amarillo, and Jamie Jordan of Maine; her mother, Ethel Irwin of Hastings, MI; a sister, Donna Moesta and husband Dan of Hastings, MI, and their sons, Danny Moesta and Damien Joel Moesta; and several other nieces and nephews.
