Brent J. Conlin

Brent J. Conlin passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, in Midland, Texas, at the age of 75. Brent was born on December 26, 1939 in Preston, Idaho to Ada Irene Jensen and William "Bill" Field Conlin. He spent his early years on the family ranch and working in the family creamery. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1962 with a BS in Agronomy. He married Carol Ann Austin, in 1966. Brent moved to Amarillo in 1978 to work for the USDA Soil Conservation Service now known as the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Brent was an avid hunter, fly fisherman and gardener. He loved being outdoors and going to look at deer and geese. Brent is survived by three siblings, his spouse Carol Ann, and their five children: Holly (and Chuck Laing) of Midland, Phillip (and Devri) of Midland, Christine of Amarillo, Roger (and Karryn) of Blossburg, PA, and Kent of Oklahoma City, 17 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
