Bryan Lance Cody, 52, of Amarillo, died December 7, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, at Hillside Christian Church South Campus, 6901 Bell St., with Pastor Craig Albracht officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Bryan was born on October 8, 1965 to Bob "Commander" Cody and Frances Cody in Amarillo. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1984. He was self-employed at Cody Construction Concepts as a contractor for many years. Bryan was a supremely talented carpenter, skilled woodworker and exceptional cook. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching NASCAR, spending time with friends and family, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all, he adored his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by a daughter, Candace Walker and husband, Curtis of Mission, Kansas; a son, Brennon Cody of Denver, Colorado; a sister, Cinnamon Sherwood and husband, Brent of Colorado City; three grandchildren, Branch and Lorena Walker, and Eleanor Cody; a nephew, Jake Allen; and a niece, Devyn Schram.
