A celebration of life gathering will also be held from 4-7:00 p.m Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Coors Cowboy Club. Bryan was born on September 10, 1974 in Amarillo to Terry and Vicki Marler. He was raised in Amarillo, graduating from Amarillo High School in 1993. He served our community as a Corporal for the Potter County Sheriffs Department, where he happily retired from after 20 years of service. On April 20, 2015, he married April Carey in Galveston. Bryan enjoyed golfing, playing darts and many sports and was a firearm enthusiast and an avid Denver Broncos fan as well as a proud member of the Coors Cowboy Club. He was known to be competitive to a fault and always lit up a room with his smile when he walked in. Bryan would want to give a "shout-out" to all his "F.F.s". For his many family and friends he wanted y'all to know how much he adored each and every one of you. The most cherished things to him were his family, friends and his beloved puppies. "Have a Chilton for me!" The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of BSA Hospice of the Southwest for the loving care they showed Bryan throughout his illness. He was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle McCollum and his grandparents. He is survived by his wife, April Carey Marler; son, Brett Marler; daughter, Lauren Marler; parents, Terry Lee and Vicki Marler; brother, Terry "Chuch" Marler; sister, Crysta Sullivan; brother-in-law, Brent McCollum, all of Amarillo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to BSA Hospice of the Southwest.
